At Cornerstone Stables, we have a knowledgeable staff and highly accomplished instructors. We offer a full training and lesson program for children and adults. We also have several qualified lesson horses available.

Spring and Summer Riding Camps are also offered and provide fun-filled opportunities to learn horsemanship skills and English or Western riding, and make new friends!

A Variety of Riding Programs

The balanced seat and classic dressage are the impetus for all instruction at Cornerstone. The primary goal is to create competent, relaxed pleasure riders and horses. Our intention is to introduce our students to a broad range of equestrian activities, western pleasure, showing hunters, trail riding, jumping, driving and dressage from the beginner level through advanced.

Cornerstone conducts a full range of equestrian activities on site including unrecognized horse shows, dressage shows, trails, specialized clinics, as well as summer programs and on-going after school programs. We also provide coaching and transportation to off site shows. Along with this traditional aspect of horseback riding, Cornerstone also offers educational seminars, private parties, lead and treasure hunts, field trips, fund raisers and community service activities. We also offer pony rides and Birthday parties by appointment.

Additional Information

Each student needs to purchase their own ASTM/SEI riding helmet and riding boots by the end of the first session.

The assessment lesson is one hour long. It is designed to give you and your family the opportunity to visit our facility and meet the staff and horses. During that hour you will be shown how to properly groom, tack-up and mount a horse. After a short lesson, our staff will assess your riding level and answer any questions you may have about our program.

Now is the time to find out if horseback riding is for you. We have friendly, quiet and willing horses to help you feel comfortable from day one. Call for an appointment for your assessment lesson.
